Collection of Cultural Relics

Chapter I General Provisions

Article 1 Collection is the material basis of museum business activities. The quantity and quality of museum collections are directly related to the business level and social and economic benefits of the museum. Article 2 donation, purchase, allocation and acceptance of collections are all within the scope of collection work.

Chapter III Scope of collection of cultural relics

Chapter V procedures for collection of cultural relics

Article 15 at the end of each year, a scientific and reasonable plan shall be made for the collection direction and content of the next year according to the type and quantity of cultural relics in the collection and the status of funds collected in the next year.

Article 16 before collecting cultural relics, the cultural relics collection personnel shall preliminarily screen the objects to be collected, and form a written report on the shape description, time, source, pictures and degree of disability of the cultural relics, and submit them to the leader in charge, who shall collect them after obtaining the approval of the leading group.

Article 20 during the collection of cultural relics, at least two staff with the qualification of assistant librarian or above for cultural relics must be present to inquire in detail about the origin and circulation of cultural relics, fill in the collection form of cultural relics, and strictly make objective and detailed records.

Article 21 for cultural relics collected in the form of acquisition, the museum, together with the cultural relics departments at the provincial and municipal levels or invited experts, shall estimate the necessity and value of the collected cultural relics, make appraisal grades and draw up appraisal opinions, and submit the appraisal opinions to the Library Affairs Committee for examination and approval.

Article 22 in accordance with the relevant provisions of our museum, the collected cultural relics shall be registered in a timely manner, and the procedures for receiving and storing them shall be handled. For the cultural relics in the collection, we should register the fixed assets of our museum and store them in the cultural relic storehouse for safekeeping.

Chapter VI supplementary provisions

Article 23 the power of interpretation of these Measures shall be vested in Shaanxi Han and Tang stone carving Museum.

Article 24 These Measures shall come into force as of the date of promulgation.
